Individual
Psychotherapy

Individual therapy is a collaborative process between a therapist and the individual seeking help. Therapy can serve various goals, such as fostering personal change, improving quality of life, or addressing challenges that are difficult to face alone. Also referred to as psychotherapy, talk therapy, or counseling, individual therapy is a safe space to explore emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in a supportive environment.

Therapy can empower individuals to overcome obstacles, enhance self-esteem, and develop skills for managing difficult situations. It encourages personal growth, improved decision-making, and the achievement of goals. Many individuals also find that therapy provides an ongoing opportunity for self-awareness and self-improvement.

In addition to traditional therapeutic approaches, I offer Faith-Based Counseling for those seeking to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into their healing process. This approach can provide additional support for individuals looking to integrate their faith as part of their therapeutic journey.

Couples
Therapy

Couples therapy provides a safe space for both partners to express their feelings and work through challenges together. Whether navigating a specific life event or simply looking to strengthen your relationship, couples counseling can enhance communication, deepen emotional connections, and improve understanding between partners.

By exploring individual needs, understanding each other's love languages (both verbal and non-verbal), and reflecting on personal and relational growth, couples therapy can reignite the spark in your relationship. It’s an opportunity to build stronger bonds, improve communication, and foster greater intimacy.

For couples who wish to integrate their spiritual beliefs into the healing process, Faith-Based Counseling is also available, offering a faith-centered approach to support and strengthen the relationship.

Group/Family
Therapy

As your family therapist, I work with family members to improve communication, solve problems, and develop healthier ways to work together. Family therapy can be beneficial for addressing a wide range of issues, whether they are viewed as "individual" or "family" problems. Involving the family in finding solutions often leads to more effective and lasting results.

Family therapy helps uncover the strengths, wisdom, and support that each family member brings to the table, creating an environment of collaboration and healing. By actively participating in therapy, families can strengthen bonds, enhance mutual understanding, and develop practical skills for managing conflicts and navigating challenges together.

In addition to traditional therapeutic approaches, Faith-Based Counseling is available for families who wish to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into the healing process. This approach can help guide families through difficult times with faith-driven support, fostering unity, hope, and resilience.

Payment Information
Please note that I do not accept insurance at this time. All sessions are private pay, with a fee starting at $250 per family session.

EMDR

Trauma-Focused EMDR Treatment: A Path to Healing
Trauma-Focused EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a proven, evidence-based therapy that helps individuals heal from the emotional effects of trauma. It’s especially helpful for those who have experienced traumatic events such as abuse, accidents, or other life-altering experiences that continue to affect their daily lives.

EMDR helps process and reframe distressing memories through guided eye movements, which reduce their emotional intensity over time. This approach doesn’t require you to relive or describe your traumatic experiences in detail, but instead focuses on addressing the memories, thoughts, and feelings that still cause distress.

As we work together in EMDR therapy, you may feel more grounded, empowered, and less triggered by past events. If you're struggling with symptoms like flashbacks, anxiety, or depression related to trauma, Trauma-Focused EMDR may be the compassionate path you need to begin your healing journey and regain control over your emotions and life.

Please note that at this time, I do not accept insurance. All sessions are private pay, with a fee of $185 per session for Individual EMDR Treatment.

My Approach

Therapeutic Approach

Naomi’s approach to therapy is grounded in fostering hope and resilience by building on each client’s unique strengths. She works with adults and couples to increase self-awareness, strengthen confidence, set meaningful goals, improve communication, and reduce patterns that no longer serve them. With couples, Naomi focuses on rebuilding connection, enhancing emotional intimacy, and developing effective problem-solving skills to support a more fulfilling and supportive partnership.

Recognizing that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, Naomi tailors each session to meet the individual needs of her clients. She integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care, to provide personalized and effective treatment.

Naomi is committed to creating a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her goal is to help clients navigate challenges, foster meaningful growth, and move toward a more balanced, connected, and fulfilling life.

About me

When individuals experience trauma or significant life stressors, it can disrupt their sense of stability, identity, and well-being. My clinical work is rooted in both professional training and lived experience, which informs a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families as they navigate healing and growth.

I am passionate about helping clients process traumatic and stressful experiences while developing healthier self-perceptions and stronger, more fulfilling relationships. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, I support clients in reconnecting with their strengths and moving toward a greater sense of peace, safety, and wholeness.

My goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.

Restoring The Soul: A Biblical Guide to Mental Health and Wholness

 The Story Behind the Book

Restore the Soul: A Biblical Guide to Mental Health and Wholeness was placed on my heart by God as the beginning of something greater—a series dedicated to bridging the gap between faith and mental health with truth, compassion, and understanding.

As a faith-based Christian therapist, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families from diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds. Through this work, one reality became clear: mental health struggles are often misunderstood, especially in spaces where the belief persists that one simply needs to “pray more” to be healed.

While prayer is powerful and essential, I have witnessed firsthand that healing also requires compassion, insight, and intentional support.
This book was written to connect those missing pieces, to bring together God’s love and grace with the very real emotional and mental challenges people face every day.

Throughout Scripture, we see that even the most faithful experienced seasons of depression, anxiety, grief, and anger. They were not dismissed or condemned, they were met with God’s presence, His care, and His faithfulness.

Restore the Soul serves as a reminder that:
You can love God deeply and still need support.

You can have unwavering faith and still be in the process of healing.

You are not broken; you are becoming whole.

This is more than a book.
It is an invitation to break stigma, embrace truth, and step into restoration.
