Naomi Burks, LMFT

When individuals experience trauma or significant life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to feel overwhelming or disrupted. Naomi is dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families in navigating these challenges and fostering meaningful healing. Her work focuses on helping clients develop healthier self-perceptions, strengthen relationships, and experience a greater sense of peace, safety, and wholeness.
Naomi recognizes that no single therapeutic approach fits every individual. To provide personalized care, she is trained in a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Relational Gestalt Therapy, Gestalt Play Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Multidisciplinary Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR for trauma treatment.
She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Holy Names University in Oakland, California, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from Kaplan University. In addition, she has a degree in Biblical Studies. Naomi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California and is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to underserved communities throughout the Bay Area.
